Well, it is official, our house will be completed and ready to move in on August 13. The best part about that is it is only a little over a week away. The worst part is that we will be on the beaches of Hilton Head to celebrate this event!! So that is why moving day has turned into moving week. I think we will be using the first week we are back to move all the little things into the new house. Then we will move the big items on the weekend. It is even more stressful because I wll be back to work that very same week. I don't think we could cram any more into one week than that! The house is looking beautiful and I am sooooooooo excited to be living there full time. We have found renters for our Parma house and are embarking on an adventure into unchartered waters (for us anyway). Hopefully our renters will like the house so much that they will want to stay for a long time! Here are some recent pictures of the new house. Only a few more things to add and we are moving in!

Busy Bee
About a week ago, Payton decided that she did not need a nap. Instead, she emptied her ENTIRE dresser onto her bed. When I walked in my jaw hit the ground at what I saw. There was so many clothes on her bed that it took me 27 minutes to fold them all and put them back in the drawer. Sometimes I wonder about this girl!!

Summer Swimming TIme!!
Caleb's first shiner
Well it only took 16months of life for Caleb to get his first black eye. We were shopping for furniture for the new house at a place called American Freight. It is like a warehouse full of furniture of all kinds. There are end tables stacked on end tables, coffee tables, couches and all kinds of bedroom furniture (you get the idea right?). We were in the store for about 5minutes when Caleb decided to try and climb up onto one of the glass/rod iron end tables. As he was trying to climb and before Shane or I could get to him the one he was using to pull his weight came crashing to the floor. On the way down, it hit him in the back which knocked him over. He hit his eye on the wooden palate that the furniture was stacked on. Glass shattered every where. It was a mess. Could have been a lot worse so I am thankful that it was only a black eye.
Father's Day 2011
Shane had to work on Father's Day this year so we made a trip to see Nana and Poppy. We got Poppy a card and a key lime pie....his FAVORITE!!! Payton spent the day in the pool (which was freezing because the weather hasn't been that hot.) So we took turns getting in with her. She was jumping and splashing and having a great time, even though her lips were blue!! Caleb splashed a lot but was not too fond of the cold water. After naps, Poppy gave tractor rides and we had dinner. The best part of the whole day was that Payton voluntarily gave up her binky. She just announced that she didn't need it anymore. She has been binky free since!! Here are some pictures from the day.

We have drywall people!!!!
Shane and I went to the house yesterday to find that the entire house has been drywalled. I was not expecting the whole house to be done. I will say it again, it amazes me how much gets done in a week. The outside stone is complete. They only things they have left to do on the outside is put the stone on the bottom portion of the house when the final grading will be. They need to run out faucets and outlets to the outside as well. Moving right along! I was told that a good rule of thumb is that the house will be complete 6 weeks from the drywall stage. If that is the case, we are looking at moving in at the beginning of August, instead of the end. HOLY COW!!! Here are the lastest pictures.

Floors and insulation
We have a basement floor and a garage floor. Most of the house is insulated already and they have started to put the stone on the front. They have also poured the front porch. It is amazing how much they got done in a week. I am pretty sure they will start drywalling this week. August is going to come so quickly, I can't believe it! Here are the latest photos:
