Payton got lipgloss from a birthday party this weekend. She decided to put some on after nap yesterday. Isn't she beautiful?

Caleb is ONE!!
My baby boy turned one last Monday. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. It also amazes me how much a baby can change in a year. They go from little motionless blobs, to walking, talking curious toddlers in no time at all. Here is what Caleb is up to:
-He can clap, point, and blow kisses.
-He loves anything electronic. This includes laptop, phone, tv, dvd player, cable box and anything else that makes noise.
-He is a walking machine. He still looks a little like Frankenstein but is getting much better. He is a little clumsy with shoes on but he is working that out too.
-He follows Payton wherever she goes. Their favorite place to play seems to be the bathroom (GROSS). In fact, a few weeks ago, Shane was watching them and they were playing in the bathroom. When he went to check on them, they had unrolled half the toilet paper roll and Payton was putting it in the toilet as Caleb was playing with the toilet brush. Needless to say I can't wait for our new house to be done so that they have other options to play in besides the bathroom.
-He is eating great! We have started to wean him off bottles. So far we have gotten rid of one bottle in the morning. He gets three bottles and three meals of food. He pretty much eats whatever is in front of him.
-We had his 12month well-baby appointment on Wednesday and he is exactly 20lbs and 29 3/4 inches long. Doctor says that everything looks great!
-He is a VERY happy baby. Not too much upsets him, except when something is taken from him when he is playing with it. He is strong-willed (just like his sissy).
We had his birthday party last Sunday and everything went great. I was nervous to have 20-30 people in our house because it is so small but everything was great. We had pizza, salad, pasta salad, chips and a veggie tray. Caleb got lots of great toys and tons of clothes (which he desperately needed). So glad everyone was able to make it and hopefully everyone had a good time. I will attach pictures soon!

2411 Twelve Oaks Circle
This will be our new address once we sell the house we are currently living in and our new house is built. Today marks a BIG day. We made a deal with the builder that we want to use and he agreed to accept our terms. Shane and I are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives. We are using LDA Builders and are building a 2-story colonial home with a 3-car side load garage. The house will be 2879 square feet with an additional 1100 square feet in the basement (we will finish it later). If you are interested in looking at our floor plans you can check out LDA's website at www.ldabuilders.com. The house that we are building is the Ashbrook II. The only difference is that we are adding a morning room to the back of the house off the dinette. Can't wait to get this started! It is going to be an adventure!
