A trip to Erie

We went to Erie, Pa today to visit the Jewells. It was MacKenzee's birthday and Austin's baptism. It was great to see everyone today and everyone had a great time!

Johnny made a clubhouse out of boxes. MacKenzee and Payton had a ball playing in it.

Max liked looking at the girls playing in the clubhouse.

MaKenzee and Payton were trying to tire out Johnny.

Caleb had a great time.

Max going for the cotton(the Cottonwood trees were in full effect--I have never seen so much fuzz in all my life).

Austin was exhausted after his big day.

After a hard day of playing and no nap, Payton couldn't even keep her dress up :).

POOL TIME!!

Today was the first day that we got out Payton's pool. When she first got in it, it was too cold (Shane filled it up from the hose) so we had to put buckets of hot water in it from the faucet. After that she was good to go. It was hard to get her out for lunch. I was so proud of her because she was floating on her back and even went under twice. I thought that might scare her a little but she LOVED it! Here are some pool pics. I also learned how to put a video on here. As Payton would say, "Check it out!"

What can I say??

The girl's got style. And no those are not leg warmers...they are Shane's socks. Notice the gray heel is on the front of her leg. She refused to take them off even though it was 80 degrees outside and therefore became a sweaty mess!

What a wonderful day!

I wish that we were filthy rich so that I could spend all my days this way. We went to get lunch and then spent some time at a local park. Payton had a ball playing on the equipment and even conquered the big slide all by herself. When we got home, we put the kids down for nap and then Shane and I planted flowers and finished planting in the garden. It is days like today that I realize I am blessed!!!

My Personal Gardeners

Shane and Payton spent hours outside this morning doing yard work. Shane even went to the dollar store and got P her own gardening tools, complete with an apron, shovel, rake, hoe, watering can, and kneeling pad. They were so cute. Here are some pictures of their events this morning.

Who needs paper??......

....when your body is a perfectly good canvas?

Today I was rocking Caleb, giving him his bottle while Payton was in the family room watching Dora. When I came out of his room, I found her with her arms covered in pink marker. I took her to the bathroom and got most of it off. Some of the pink is still there but should come off in the bath.

These two sticker pictures were taken in early April.

Caleb's 3months old!

I can't believe that three months have gone by already since we have had Caleb. He is changing and growing every day. He is a great night time sleeper. He gets into bed anywhere from 6:30-7pm and sleeps until about 5am. I feed him a small bottle, and he goes right back to sleep until about 7:30am. The morning nap has developed and Caleb sleeps from 9am-11. The afternoon naps are still developing so he pretty much catnaps throughout the afternoon. He is eating 6 ounces of soy formula about every 2 hours. The constipation has subsided and everything is moving splendidly. Caleb is smiling constantly and has really become a "talker." He coos a ton and gets real excited easily. He has just started to reach for objects that are hanging in front of him. He is such a happy baby. Here are some pictures of Caleb.

Isn't he the cutest thing ever?

First bath together

We spent a few hours outside today and Payton played the entire time with her sand and water table. Her favorite thing to do was to pour the water in the sand and then pick up the soggy sand. By the time we came inside she had sand just about everywhere on her body (including in her diaper.) I had to put her in the tub with Caleb in order to avoid having sand all over my house. Payton was really cute. She sat behind Caleb's tub and even tried washing his head with her washcloth. What a helper she is.

First ice cream cone

The other day I took Payton for her first ice cream cone. When I handed her the cone, she had the widest eyes I think I have ever seen. She did really well eating most of it before it melted. Of course the next few days she asked to get "I Keem".
